Product News: Search Console Reporting and Custom Group Types
See which Google searches brought companies to your site, with clicks, impressions, CTR, and position next to the companies and revenue they produced, plus reporting for workspaces, teams, and other group types.

The new Search report joins Google Search Console to the companies that landed on your site from Google organic search, and to the revenue those visitors went on to produce. Group reporting also now covers any group type you define, not just companies.
Connect Search Console
Go to Project Settings → Search Console, sign in with Google, and choose a property. Access is read-only: Logspot never changes anything in Search Console.
The Search Report
Analytics → Search shows total clicks, impressions, click-through rate, and average position for the last 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, or 6 months. Below the totals, a Queries tab and a Pages tab each list the top 100 rows. Each query shows the companies and revenue it brought in, and each page shows the companies whose visit began there.
How the Join Works
For each page, Logspot counts the companies whose Google organic session started on that page in the period. Companies and revenue count only visitors whose first touch was Google organic search, so ads, other search engines, and other channels stay out.
Pages are matched with the query string, fragment, and trailing slash removed. The host is kept, so www. and the bare domain are separate pages, as they are in Search Console. A page with no sessions in the period shows No match instead of zero.
What's Exact and What's Estimated
Totals are Google's own figures, and a page's company count is exact. For queries, a page's companies and revenue are split across the queries that drove it in proportion to clicks, so those figures are estimates and are marked with ~. Google doesn't identify individual searchers, so the join happens at the page level. Google also withholds rare queries, so the rows won't add up to the totals.
Reporting for Custom Group Types
Beyond companies, you can now report on any group type you define, such as a workspace or a team. Add a type under Settings → Groups. Each organization can have up to ten custom types in addition to the built-in company type. Then send memberships with that type:
curl -X POST https://api.logspot.io/v1/group \
-H "Authorization: Bearer sk_a1b2c3d4e5f6" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"group_id": "ws_8f2a",
"type": "workspace",
"user_id": "user_123",
"traits": { "name": "Acme Marketing" }
}'Analytics → Groups lists each group with its Users, Events, and Last Active over the last 30 days. Select a group to see its Top Users. Connected AI assistants can read the same data through the top_groups, get_group_metrics, and group_top_users tools.
Get Started
Connect a property under Project Settings → Search Console, then open Analytics → Search. Group reporting is available on every plan: add a type under Settings → Groups and start sending memberships. See Search Console and Groups and Companies.
