Product News: Company Identification, Enrichment, and GTM Signals

Logspot can now tell you which company a visit came from, fill in what kind of company it is, and record a signal when an account you care about does something worth acting on.

Company Identification

Logspot resolves the company behind an anonymous visit from the network the visit came from, with no extra script, pixel, or cookie. Resolved visits appear in Analytics → Companies and feed Signals.

Before an anonymous visit is resolved, Logspot checks the visitor's consent. A visitor with explicit analytics consent, recorded by your consent banner, the API, or a stored choice, is resolved wherever they are. Without explicit consent, a region policy decides by the visitor's location. The default resolves visitors in the United States only; contact us to change it for your organization. Visits from home internet providers and from hosting or VPN networks aren't resolved, because those networks don't belong to a company.

Automatic Enrichment

Once a company is known, Logspot can fill in its industry, size, and location using waterfall enrichment: it checks several data sources in order and keeps the first match. Turn on Auto-Enrich Companies under Actions → Enrichment, or enrich one company at a time with the Enrich button on its page in Analytics → Companies. A lookup that finds nothing is free, and a company enriched in the last 30 days isn't looked up or charged again.

Signals on Target Accounts

Add the accounts you care about as Target Accounts under Actions → Profiles. Logspot then records a signal when one of them:

  • visits your site (Target Account Visited)
  • views a pricing, demo, or docs page (High-Intent Page Visit)
  • comes back within a week of a previous visit (Return Visit)
  • is well above its own recent activity level (Usage Spike)

New ICP-Fit Company fires once for any newly enriched company that matches your ICP, whether or not it is a target account. Signals appear under Actions → Signals, with at most one signal per account per day.

For a written summary, add the Weekly GTM Digest action from the Actions catalog. On its schedule, it summarizes the week's signals for each target account with a suggested next step.
